Stayed here in the summer 2007. It was absolutely empty apart from us but really lovely. There is a turtle rescue place right next door on the beach. Tsunami survivors need to be seen. In the hotel, the room was great and the food was fantastic - they talked us into full board - but once we'd eaten we were OK about that. We came up on the train from Matara - got off a bit south and got a tuk-tuk to here then up a bit further north to go back to Colombo on the afternoon train.
We have brochures and give them to everyone. Go there - it's great.
